Roulot, Corton Charlemagne other_regions_australia The share of botrytis here

The share of botrytis here was minimal

weight and vibrancy to the more discreetly mineral-inflected and sleekly muscular flavors that terminate in a firmly austere

this clarity

This for me has a better balance than the 2009

briary and warm gravel aromas

Roulot, Corton Charlemagne other_regions_australia The share of botrytis here(from Les Languettes in Aloxe and Hautes Mourottes in Ladoix). This is also admirably pure, cool and elegant with its array of green apple, wet stone, white flower and a plenitude of subtle spice elements. The sleek, intense and well detailed flavors are definitely not as dense, but they do flash equally good minerality on the impressively lengthy finale. This is also quite good, but it cant quite match the Chevalier overall excellence.
